Refund Policy

1. Cancellation
You may cancel your Solo plan subscription at any time. When you cancel:
- No further payments will be charged to your account
- You retain full access to all paid features (unlimited documents, email alerts) until the end of your current billing period
- After the billing period ends, your account reverts to the Free plan (dashboard access, up to 3 documents, no email alerts)
- Your data is never deleted upon cancellation โ it remains accessible on the Free plan
2. No Partial-Month Refunds
Subscription fees are non-refundable once a billing period has started. Since LicenseGuard is a digital service that begins monitoring and alerting immediately upon activation, we cannot offer pro-rated refunds for unused days within a billing cycle.
This is standard practice for subscription-based SaaS tools and is consistent with the consumer protection framework in India for digital services.
3. 7-Day Goodwill Refund (New Subscribers Only)
If you are a first-time subscriber to the Solo plan and the core service (email alerts) did not function at all during your first 7 calendar days, you may request a full refund of your first payment. To qualify:
- You must have contacted our support team during those 7 days to report the issue
- We must be able to verify that alerts were not sent due to a fault on our end (not due to spam filters, incorrect email entry, or email provider issues on your side)
- The request must be submitted within 10 calendar days of your first payment
This goodwill refund is available once per customer and does not apply to renewals or resubscriptions.
4. Duplicate or Erroneous Charges
If you were charged more than once for the same billing period due to a technical error, we will refund the duplicate charge in full within 7 business days of being notified. No questions asked.
5. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, send an email to with:
- Your registered email address
- The reason for your refund request
- Any relevant details (error messages, screenshots, etc.)
We will acknowledge your request within 1 business day and provide a resolution within 3 business days.
6. Refund Processing
Approved refunds will be processed back to your original payment method via Dodo Payments. Please allow 7โ10 business days for the refund to appear in your account, depending on your bank or card issuer.
7. Chargebacks
We kindly ask that you contact us before filing a chargeback with your bank or card issuer. We are committed to resolving any billing issues quickly and fairly. Filing a chargeback without contacting us first may result in account suspension.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this refund policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email to active subscribers at least 7 days before taking effect. The policy in effect at the time of your purchase applies to that transaction.
