These Terms of Service constitute a legally binding agreement under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Indian Contract Act, 1872. By accessing or using LicenseGuard you agree to be bound by these Terms.

By creating an account or using LicenseGuard ("the Service") at licenseguardapp.com, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

These Terms are an electronic record under the IT Act 2000 and do not require a physical signature to be binding.

2. Description of Service

LicenseGuard is a subscription-based SaaS tool that helps contractors track expiry dates for licenses, insurance certificates, bonds, and certifications. The Service sends automated email alerts before expiry dates to help users avoid lapses.

LicenseGuard is a reminder tool only. We do not verify, renew, or guarantee the validity of any license or insurance document. Users remain solely responsible for renewing their documents on time.

All content, design, code, and branding on LicenseGuard is the intellectual property of LicenseGuard and is protected under applicable Indian and international IP laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without prior written consent.

Your document data remains your own. We claim no ownership over the data you enter into the Service.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless LicenseGuard and its operators from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service in violation of these Terms or applicable law.

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms. We comply with the IT Act 2000, SPDI Rules 2011, and the DPDPA 2023.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account immediately if you violate these Terms, without refund. You may delete your account at any time by contacting . Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days.

Refunds, where applicable, will be processed back to your original payment method via Dodo Payments within 7–10 business days.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes by email at least 7 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, including the Indian Contract Act 1872 and the Information Technology Act 2000. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of competent courts in India.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

16. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and LicenseGuard and supersede all prior communications, agreements, and understandings.
